Whats New?

8/27/2010
Welcome to Mechanixtrix.com. We've been online for over 2 years now and I'd like to thank everyone who has visited the site , added content  or just clicked on the ads. My hope is that more and more of you click on the ads and add more content to the site so we can keep growing and be able to help more people.
I don't have any idea of who's using the site. Is it the do it yourselfer ? Is it a professional mechanic ? Is it someone who has no idea about how to fix a car ? You know it's funny when I'm at work we always have people walking into the shop and asking questions on how to do this or that. And i can always tell how experienced they are at fixing cars by the way their face looks when I'm giving them the answer. Sometimes I'll stop in the middle and point them up to a service advisor just because I know that there is no way that they will be able to do the repair they are asking about. So if you are on the site and have never fixed a car or have'nt worked around them before don't try to take on a major repair because you might end up screwing the car up worse or yourself.

So the next time you run across a repair on the internet add it to our site. We've made this feature very easy to use. We don't ask you for anything other than that. The more articles the more people who will use the site and hopefully they add articles so more people use the site. Eventually we can have complete repair guides for all makes and models and all for free!! Nowadays free is better, hell anyday free is better.
So feel free to use our site we hope it can help make auto repairs a little easier on you and remember a picture speaks a thousand words so the more pictures in the articles the better. I hope we can all build a site that will help all. So the next time you go to any site and it says remove this part but doesn't show you where it is or how to do it check with us.
