Ford Mustang Fuel Pump Replacement 2005 - 2008

Instructions
Step 1
Depressurize fuel system
Step 2
Remove backseat
Step 3
Wich pump or sending unit do you want to replace.
Drivers side is the pressure pump.
Passenger side is the jet the pump and secondary pump
Step 4
Remove the plastic cover of pump you want to remove.
Step 5
Disconnect electrical connector and fuel line.
Push in on green tab to release fuel line.
Step 6
Remove fuel pump assembly retaining ring using special tool or hammer and screw driver
Step 7
Pull pump up till you can see secondary fuel line installed on unit
You need to release secondary fuel line by pushing in tab,same as line on top of fuel pump. Be careful though tank is very sharp and will cut you.
Step 8
Reinstall all after changing pump or sending units.
When installing retaining ring I use a second screwdriver 180 degrees from the one i'm using to install to make sure ring gets installed properly and then double check with mirro and flashlight
